It’s perfect no exaggeration
Despite all the negative reviews causing concern when i was contemplating ordering , I felt obligated to leave a great one because I don’t have any of the problems the negative reviews experienced. The packaging was very secure so the box wasn’t sliding all around the box, The box doesn’t have any dings or dents, it came it perfect condition. The seal wasn’t broken, still in tact. As for the playstation itself , the fan is not loud. Its literally nonexistent. It came in perfect condition as well with all the parts and cables/cords. The remote works like normal, no weird sounds or anything when playing. The update went through perfectly no hiccups or restarting. Everything has been good with connecting and setting up and gameplay has been great like normal. 10/10 love it very much!

Nice step up from my faithful ps4 days.
I’m glad I waited and brought the Slim on sale. I ended up buying a disc drive later on, because I like having backup lol, and since I have a pretty good pc I’ve also made this my ‘media center’ so I defintely feel I get my moneys worth. Didn’t care for the slightly sticky feel of the controller’s RT + LT triggers, though, I can’t tell if it’s defective or supposed to be that way because I haven’t seen many complaints about it. I dunno, might just get a new controller down the road and edit this. Otherwise, it’s supe easy to setup and transfer your stuff over. I actually love how clean and fluid the UI is, especially the ‘Switcher’ feature that I use often. Overall, worth price if you do a bit of casual mixed with competitive gaming like me, but if you have an original ps5 (or Pro by the time you read this) already than there’s likely nothing new for you here.

Fantastic console, impressive controller
Finally bought a PS5 after 4 years of gaming on Series X, and I feel like those last 4 years were a waste. The exclusive games are far more exciting. Returnal is amazing, and the upcoming Rise of the Ronin looks great. Compared to Xbox’s exclusive output of flops like Halo Infinite, Redfall and the underwhelming Starfield, it really is no contest.The big winner is the Dualshock 5 controller and the haptic stuff. I was convinced it was just another gimmick until I actually tried it. Complete game changer, just like when basic rumble features were introduced back in the day.

Only thing I didn’t like about it is on the app. If you put the codes in it accepts it, but it doesn’t accept it on the PlayStation. When you go into the store so I lost out on the free Spider-Man 2.

One of the best consoles
Definitely PS5 fulfilled all my expectations. The video quality is simply outstanding and differentiate it from other platforms. Games are for grown ups and big kids, for sure if looking for more little kids Switch is better. Setting the console up is not rocket science but expect some detailed steps and spend about an hour. Absolutely recommended to plug to wired internet connection, because games size is huge! Unless you won’t be super anxious to play and it will download in 1 whole day

Just glad it got here in one piece….
Seeing as whomever packed it threw the ps5 box into a much larger box with a few scraps of paper for padding and USPS summarily tossed it around and damaged said larger box, I can at least attest to this systems durability since it manged to arrive intact. It was also nice of USPS to leave the box leaning up against the door so it could fall in when I opened it. The ps5 box was creased from slamming around in a larger box with tons of empty space, but the product was unharmed. The system itself is amazing, the redesigned control is beautiful, and I look forward to finally getting this installed and working as soon as my ps4 transfers my stuff to my external drive.*Def worth the money. Everything is clean, clear, and with ray tracing enabled, you won’t care about 30 fps instead of 60 because everything will look so clean and detailed. Honestly, I prefer 30 fps. At 60 it’s too awkward and unrealistic. Anyway, perfect machine. Very happy with this purchase.

Solid system bundle (no stand needed).
Depending on when you purchase you can get a solid additional discount for this bundle (I got mine for $450, game code included). Contrary to articles you will see all over the web, you DO NOT NEED the stand that Sony tries to sell you for the additional $30. If you get the disc drive model (which you can convert to all digital anyway), you can essentially let the disc drive operate as the “stand” and it works just fine.And yes, the faceplates were changed ASAP after purchase (matte black all the things)!

Great Value!
The PlayStation 5, or PS5 bundle with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a great value product. It comes with the console, all the cables you need, a controller, and a digital copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to play with. The console is backward compatible with all PS4 games, so if you don’t own many PS5 games, don’t worry, you can play your old games as well.The feel of the console feels premium, and the included stand to prop it vertically was easy to insert into the proper slots. I wish it came with a vertical stand as well, but that’s just a minor nitpick. If you want to stand it up vertically, you’d need to buy a separate stand for that.The PS5 Slim is also remarkably smaller than the PS4 Pro that I own and is much quieter in comparison besides the startup sound of the disk drive when you first boot it up with a disc in either from standby mode or from off.The controller is bigger ergonomically than the original PS4 controller but doesn’t feel bad. The controller is shaped in a way that even those with smaller hands can feel comfortable holding. The adaptive triggers take some getting used to, but feel fine for the most part.Overall, I highly recommend the PS5 Slim.

I love my ps5
I use my ps5 on & off all day and never once has it gotten hot to the touch, even after using for it 8 hours straight (though doing so is not recommended). Everyone should own one, especially those, like me, that have way too much free time on their hands, lol. They have so many games that help your concentration & coordination, like Astro’s playroom that comes free with each ps5. I also love that you can play remotely using their remote play from anywhere in the world that has a strong WiFi connection.

A enjoyable system, but unfortunately has serious flaws
The games are very good for this system. I really enjoy Spiderman 2. The graphics are fantastic, and the framerates are wonderful. There are some things that I think people need to know before they buy this system.The first thing is that like the PS4, the heat exhaust vents are on the BACK. I thought they were on the front and I was wondering why my system was so loud. Turns out it takes in cool air at the top and expels it at the back, meaning for proper operation you will need 4 inches of space on all sides. This is from their official safety instructions.For some reasons you must be 7 inches or 20 cm away from the console during operation. So this means that if you would like to have it on your desk next to your monitor, that is a no go. I could not find any reason as to why, but there is something in the console that they don’t want you close to it, and that scares me.You cannot touch the console while on for prolonged periods of time as it could cause low-grade burns. I am not suggesting there would be a need to touch the console during operation, but if it is generating that much heat that to me seems dangerous.One might say its because its a beast of a system, but many people have computers on their desk, close to them, and touch them all the time, and have no issues whatsoever. Before you buy this system, just go read their safety instructions and google proper airflow for the PS5.I regret my purchase because I have no-where I can put it. I live in a small room, and I don’t have 4 inches on each side, and the only other area I have is a small desk. I wish I had done more research before purchasing this product, but OPINION: I thought Sony had improved the design of their console, but OPINION it seems worse than the PS4.

The superior game console
The last PlayStation I bought was a refurbished PlayStation 3 about 10 years. The PlayStation 5 is amazing. I also like the fact that it doubles as a 4K player. The PlayStation 5 comes with a very fast SSD. Having an SSD dramatically increases loading speed and installation speed of software updates. In my opinion, Final Fantasy 7 Remake alone makes the PlayStation 5 worth it. If I have just 1 complaint about the PlayStation 5, it’s that Sony didn’t build in backward compatibility. This would be a perfect system if it could play all PlayStation 1-4 games.

Simply Mind-Blowing
This bundlenpack that I found online was simply mind blowing! I got literally everything I wanted to on time. Except wanting a disc version instead of a digital version of the Spiderman game, but that is just my own preference. No dings no dents. It either showed up on time or early! I’ve been loving playing it on my off days or down times. Sony and PlayStation surpassed my expectations with this. Don’t wait to get this and add in a headset because it will definitely change your gaming experience. Couldn’t be any happier. Just mad I waited so long to get one. Oh PlayStation included a little plastic kickstand for your system so be patient in putting it in the right spot lol

Mi compra fue hecha desde Ecuador. El pedido llegó relativamente rápido, en Amazon decía que me llegaba en 2 semanas, sin embargo demoró menos y llegó en una semana aproximadamente. Lo que sí deberían mejorar es el empacado, aunque la caja y todo lo de adentro llegó sin problemas e intacto, la caja no tenía ninguna protección, porque al ser un aparato electrónico debería tener alguna protección para evitar problemas. Good system but repackaged
The system seems great. Even the spiderman 2 game which I didnt expect to like is great.The graphics do glitch often but as this was a repackaged item I cannot tell if the PS5 is the issue or my TV or my reciever. Basically any peace of mind I though I was was getting from a new and unused PS5 vs the “as new” used one locally on marketplace with extra controller and headphones for $220 less, was taken from me. Coming from a PS4 the step up is very noticable especially loading speeds. So to sum up. It’s a vast step up from the PS4 but be aware that you may not be recieving a brand new unit. So perhaps buying a used one for $100s less is a better option?

was unable to fit the original PS5 on my desk, this one just hit the spot perfectly.Same power as the original but in a smaller package, also Sony threw in a few new design upgrades to make life easier. the power and eject buttons are in different places now, removable Bluray drive, and an upgraded controller. (better than the first version that was shipped with the original PS5) all in all feels like a more mature product.Amazon shipping was blazing fast and of the highest quality customer service.

The Best – Sony still is the console king.
The console arrived quickly. Props to Amazon. At first, I thought it was fake when the listing came live. I bought it because it was at a discounted price with the Spiderman 2 code in it. The unit came with great packaging and no damage. The set-up was easy for me given that I have almost 20 years of gaming experience. 5/5 would recommend Amazon to buy consoles and games now. I used to do it at Bestbuy but sometimes find it a hassle driving in store and it’s pointless now knowing Amazon does it better for you.

My first console and super happy
Was very happy with product, however if you plan to lay this down the “plastic feet” they include are not all that sturdy to me. Maybe they should have considered making metal or similar so they are stronger. I pushed mine over an inch and one leg broke the little part that inserts into the PS so maybe that is just a really weak spot but otherwise love my console.Now a recommendation might be to add couple more ports and to potentially make both the front ports identical. I discovered there was difference when had put it standing and plugged VR into upper usb C port and the console told me would not work in that port needed the 10g port which was the lower or one furthest to the left if looking at it. Guess was dumb to assume all usb ports are equal but does limit ya for sure.

I like the option of being able to buy a disk or download. But would probably just buy the console that only does downloads if I done it over. Easier, saves space, less damage risk, and less of a headache…especially if you have kids because you don’t have to worry about them damaging the disk or losing it.

Good Console
The PlayStation 5 is a good next-gen console. The console and controller look nice and modern. The set up is easy and does not take that long. I purchased the model with a disc drive so I could play my collection of PS4 games in addition to PS5 games and the drive works as expected. The graphics are greatly improved and worthy of next-gen. Box showed up rather riped up and playstation box looked like it was opened to remove the power cord. And taped back up. And missing the power cord… I had a spare to test it. Pretty amazing once you get it going
Purchased for Xmas for my grandson. As an experienced gamer he was thrilled to receive the PlayStation which was an upgrade from his present system. Setting up wasn’t the easiest because it seemed that for every bit of information I had to input I would get sent a code to input before moving on. There just seemed that there were too many steps to take before I could start playing. Don’t know if it’s normal with other systems or not. Downloading the free game required setting up an account which was another laborious process. Finally after setup and download the games performed very well. The graphics are outstanding and everyone was happy. My last comment is that I am surprised at the size of the system, not very compact for today’s standard.

Excelente consola, todo muy bien.. utilizar los cables que viene en la misma, tuve un pequeño problema al conectar el control pero fue mi culpa por querwr utilizar otro cable ” parecido “.. simplemente utilizar los cables propios q vienen inluidos y listo
